As vocalists for Octave 7th Band, Hazel and Jaja know how to set the mood—whether it’s soulful ballads, feel-good throwbacks, or lively tunes that get the crowd moving.
The Tajas Tunes
Meet Megan and Shawn Taja, the sibling duo behind The Tajas Tunes! At just 15 and 13 years old, these gifted young musicians bring a rich blend of violin, piano, flute, and saxophone to every performance. With experience in prestigious ensembles like the Edmonton Youth Orchestra and awards for their musical excellence, they’ve graced stages from the Winspear Centre to the Alberta Arts Gallery.

Chidi is the Founder and Executive Director of The Resilient Immigrant Foundation (TRIF) whose signature program- Park n Walk is a connection, community and wellness space for men. He has been featured on Fox, NBC, CBS, and ABC. He was nominated for the Star of Alberta Award in 2021 and for the Alberta Newcomer Champion Award 2022.
The Edmonton Fathers Day Gala is organized by TRIF (The Resilient Immigrant Foundation) in partnership with Men of Honour, two organizations deeply committed to empowering men, strengthening families, and fostering a culture of resilience and leadership.
